Project Background

SwitchON Foundation initiated the Clean Air Network, as an umbrella program for working with the youth on clean air and environmental based issues. The Clean Air Youth Leaders Program is part of this program, for which we partner with leading schools, colleges, medical colleges and environmental experts from sustainable green businesses in West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha.
The Clean Air Youth Leaders Program aims at making students aware of the clean air and environment related hazards we are facing and give them an idea of practical environment friendly activities that they can take up even at their own homes. The aim is also to make future generations aware of the urgent need for attention for both clean air and environment.
