Om Prakash Barik

Senior Project Coordinator

Om Prakash Barik works as a Senior Project Coordinator, supporting the implementation of climate-resilient agricultural practices through farmer engagement, training programs, and field-level data collection. He assists in developing training materials to promote sustainable farming techniques and contributes to program documentation and evaluation.

He holds an M.Sc. in Agriculture (Plant Pathology) and has earned several distinctions, including an ICAR NTS (2016–20), ICAR Junior Research Fellowship (2020–22), and the Best M.Sc. Thesis Award at the 9th International Conference on Agri-Next (2025). He also designed a “Plant Disease Detection Imaging Device,” registered under the Designs Act, 2000, Government of India. With two years of research experience at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, along with multiple experiential and field-based programs across Kerala and Odisha, he brings both academic depth and practical exposure to his work.

Outside of his professional interests, he enjoys traveling, playing basketball, reading scientific journals and fiction, photography, and listening to music.
